The story

Calisthenics Reacts was built to help people discover calisthenics and what the human body is actually capable of. Each edit gathers real reactions from strangers who stopped in the street to watch someone do something they didn't know was possible.

The footage belongs to the people who filmed it. It's used with their permission, and they're tagged when they want to be.

The idea underneath it is well known inside calisthenics coaching and almost unknown outside it: most strength training builds bent-arm strength, while calisthenics asks for straight-arm strength, tendons and holds the joints have never been asked to hold. That's why strong people fail their first front lever.
