How to use it

Warm the wrists up under load before straight-arm work, vary hand positions, and progress lean angle slowly. Wrist pain that lasts into the next day, or comes back every session, means stop loading that position and see a physio. Under about 18, it can be a growth-plate issue. Adults aren't immune: more than half of regular handstand practitioners have wrist pain that keeps coming back, and more warm-up or a brace alone didn't make the difference.

How sure we are

P Evidence: promising. Good studies, but small or few. Use it and keep checking.
