A little fuller over months. Muscle, not bone.

Daily facial exercises can make cheeks look a little fuller over months, like training any muscle. That's soft tissue, not bone, and the evidence is one small pilot study. Do it if you enjoy it; expect a small change, not a new face.
P Evidence: promising. Good studies, but small or few. Use it and keep checking.
After 20 weeks of facial exercise (30 minutes a day for 8 weeks, then every other day), 16 middle-aged women had fuller upper and lower cheeks and were judged about 2.7 years younger by blinded raters; but 11 of the 27 who started dropped out and there was no control group (Alam et al. 2018, pilot study, 🟡) · see 398.
