The First Three Steps

Six weeks of the care itself: skin, sun, shaving and hair, done the same way every day, judged at the end

Most looks advice is twelve steps and a shopping list. This guide is three: wash, moisturise, protect, every morning and most evenings, for six weeks before you judge anything. Then shaving and hair on one page, three more portions of colour on the plate, your sleep number, and an honest photo at each end, with a doctor list for what isn't a habit's job.

  • The order of evidence: what can honestly change how you look, and what can't
  • Three steps, not twelve, and why sunscreen is the one anti-aging habit with a long trial behind it
  • Shaving without the damage, beard or no beard, a cut on a schedule, hair loss as a doctor's question
  • From the inside: beauty sleep, the six-week glow, no diets
  • The honest photo, judging at six weeks, and the doctor list

Here's exactly what's inside
  • 107 pages, A5 PDF, 26 graded chapters in six parts
  • 9 worksheets printed in the guide, to fill in pencil
  • The exit test: 7 lines, checked over 6 weeks, so you know when it's become a habit
  • A practice page for every chapter and twelve weekly-debrief pages to write in
  • The rules: one line per chapter, and the research behind every graded chapter, at the back
Who it's for, and who it isn't

For people who want to look after how they look and don't have a routine, or have one they don't keep.

Not for anyone looking for surgery, procedures, a new face or a product list. Anything on the doctor list goes to a doctor first.

Which guide should I start with?

The First Three Steps if you don't have a routine, or have one you don't keep. Looks, Graded if you've spent time in looks advice online and can't tell what's real. If both are true, start with The First Three Steps: doing the care makes the claims easier to see through.

Is this medical advice?

No. The guides don't diagnose or treat any skin, hair or body condition. Each has a doctor list or a check-in: signs that mean see a doctor first. If anything on it fits, start there.

Do I need to buy anything?

A sunscreen. The guides name no products and recommend no supplements; they tell you what to look for, never which brand.

Surgery, procedures, a new jaw?

None. Oleā is natural only. Looks, Graded checks the at-home claims honestly, including the ones that can hurt you, and never uses face ratings or scores.

I'm under 18. Can I use them?

Yes, from 13. No diets, no weight or body targets, no supplements, and a check-in for when how you look takes up too much of your head.

How do I know it works?

Every chapter is graded. Strong and promising chapters rest on research named at the back; experience chapters rest on practice, and say so. The exit tests are behaviours, never a face or body number, and they're our standard, version 1.0.
