Framework 384 · in one look
How to use it

When something hurts (a failed attempt, a lost deal, a bad week), don't just move on. Ask what kind of situation this was ("another one of those"), find the cause, and write a one-line principle for next time. Keep the principles in one document and read it before the same situation comes back.

How sure we are

S Evidence: strong. Large trials or many studies, pointing the same way.

E Evidence: built from practice. What works for coaches and practitioners. Labelled that way.

Structured reflection (debriefs) improved performance by about 20-25% across 46 samples (Tannenbaum & Cerasoli 2013, meta-analysis, 🟢; see 183) · writing it as a reusable principle: Ray Dalio (🟠).
